A Mobile Knit Cafe is the travel version of Aimee's Yarn Cafe, once located on Clark Rd. in Paradise, CA. The storefront was closed and with the conversion of a vintage canned ham, the shop became mobile!
A knitting party is a great way to learn a new craft together with your friends! When we are learning something new, there is something encouraging and comforting when in the company of your friends. You not only get the satisfaction of learning a useful and therapeutic skill, but you get to have fun doing it, socialize with your friends or family, and create life long memories!
Think of it like this: a makeup or purse party, instead of paying $50 for a tube of mascara, or $100 for a non-designer handbag; with a knitting party, you get a hands-on class with a quality teacher, you gain self-confidence from learning something new, a new hobby, useful skills, a sense of creativity, and a product you can wear yourself or give as a gift! All this, including the materials you will need, for ONLY $40 per guest! And...the hostess also receives a free gift!
A Mobile Knit Cafe will bring the shop to your place, set up a unique "knit cafe" for you and your guests! We provide the tables and chairs, unless you want to use your own. We provide very cute knitting party kits for each guest, specially designed for any level knitter! Our quality, qualified knitting instructor has over 15 years of experience teaching and is very patient and encouraging! She believes ANYONE can learn to knit, if they want to! All you have to provide is the place for us to park the trailer for a couple hours, and refreshments for your guests if you desire!
Depending on your location, there is no travel fee! A Mobile Knit Cafe is located in the northern hills of California in a little town called Paradise, approximately 2 hours north of Sacramento. Please contact us if you wish to schedule a knitting party!
